Now on to the next project.

Finally Finished Support APC

Well sorry that I have been remiss in posting something new, Summer got in the way and before I knew it's September! So I looked over my blog and realized I didn't post any pics of the completed support APC for my earth force so here it is. Also the regular apc is also completed other than doing the bases. Pictures for this one were posted earlier, but here is a close-up of the nose art.

A little something different

Just on a different theme these are some scratchbuilt ships for Firestorm Armada.
They are a Terran Alliance ships, I liked Spartans ships but with there fleet builder at the back of the book I thought hey I can build some ships  on a style I like. In time I will get back to the 15mm stuff

Drop Ship continued

Finally got a little paint on the drop ship now just drybrushing and detail.
This is designed to drop 2 squads into the hot spots and keep up with the grav tanks

Most of my troops for the army will half to hoof it up the field but this will at least give some troops
a little mobility.

Dropship start

I have started a dropship for the Tigrids, I know I have already started on the jetbikes but I was not happy with how they were turning out so I stopped. Instead I had some ideas in my head about a dropship for them so here we are. The idea is that the troops will exit out the sides through 3 doors.
I figure it would carry 2 squads dropping them off in hot spots.

Grav APC's and Medium Tank

Well finally got some more paint on the earth force vehicles
Now just to weather and add a commander to the one apc.

Also got a game in this week and played GRUNTZ. If i get the energy and time I will post the battle report. (also sorry for the miss post here I was trying to edit the orginal post and deleted by mistake)

Start of the Jet Bikes

Well I finally finished off a huge painting project for a customer, now I can slowly start working on the Cat's (my Tigrid force) jet bikes in 15mm. First I cut out the basic shape of the base and added the inside panels, this will give me the angle for the sides and nose.

Once these supports were dry I then cut out the desired side panel shape making sure I mark what side is up. Many times I have glued pieces the wrong way! This way I can work quickly and assemble all the bikes in one go.

There we have the basic shape and form to build on. No to get some ideas for engine and weapon areas.

Almost Done!

I found some time again and got most of the detailing done.
Now just for some wear and tear.

Coming in the future Jet bikes for the cats.

Vtol for the Cats

Well got some work done and here is the VTOL for my Tigrid force

I wanted a more aggressive look then the one I previously built (which now belongs to the earth force)

Tigrid Assault Tank WIP

Well found some more time in the wee hours (usually the 6:00 am area)
to get some more work done on the cats second grav vehicle.
Yes they like there pin-ups!

Next there VTOL, should have sneek peak at it this coming weekend

New Vehicles with paint

Continuing with the previous builds I changed the Tigrid grav tank, wasn't happy with the big lasers sticking out so far  (would create problems most likely on the tabletop)

As for the Medium earth force grav tank it got some paint!

Well I almost finished the grav tank, just more detailing and this vehicle will be finished.

Well it's been a busy week but in the late hours I managed to get these 2 started
A Grav Tank for my Tigrid force and a Medium Command APC to match the other APC's in the earth force

Well I couldn't wait and found some time in between painting jobs to make some up.
Figured I would build 2 right away to fill out the force.

Continuing on in 15mm

Continuing on the 15mm vein, I have always loved FASA's game Renegade Legion and thought
hey I could build a tank for my earth force. So away I went to the man cave and started construction.
Building on the construction ideas of the previous force (the last blog) I toiled on into the night, and came up with this....

Now to come up with a paint scheme and perhaps a APC!

Now getting into 15mm, so I decided to scratch build some stuff for the army
2 vehicles and 3 mechs, now to finish them!

A New Beginning

Well it's officially 2012 and with that I thought it was the perfect time to start a blog and join the masses.
Now I can share my miniatures and art with others in the hobby and in the business.
